Afolasade’s work focuses on contested disputes and related advisory issues. She is involved in arbitration proceedings, court applications connected with arbitration, and commercial litigation before Nigerian courts.

Her work includes drafting pleadings and submissions, analysing jurisdictional and procedural questions, and supporting the preparation and presentation of evidence. She has been involved in disputes arising from commercial contracts, construction and infrastructure projects, energy arrangements, regulatory matters and data protection issues.

Afolasade also works on arbitration-related court proceedings, including enforcement and set-aside applications, and on commercial litigation matters through trial stage. She acts for a range of clients, including corporates, state-owned entities and private clients, and works as part of teams handling matters where procedural choices and remedies require careful assessment.

She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
